Finally, conventional boilers are now mainly purchased as substitutes for homes with an open ventilation heating system. Like the boilers in the system, they operate according to the principle of stored water and require a cylinder of hot water separately. The tap water will have a good flow rate (not to be confused with the pressure) and the hot water can be supplied instantaneously. This is the ideal configuration for a “power” shower, which requires a cold water supply from the cistern and an independent electric pump.
They are more expensive to install, they need more components and pipes and they take up more space.
